What is Grocio?

Grocio is your one-stop destination for saving on your groceries. With Grocio, you can order grocery items from weekly flyers at flyer prices and have them delivered right to your door.

 

How does Grocio work?

You can order grocery items from weekly flyers through our website www.grocio.ca or the Grocio app for iOS or Android. Simply browse local weekly flyers, add flyer items, and place your order. Once we receive your order, we’ll get to work preparing your order and then carefully packaging it. Once it's all ready to go, a Grocio rider will pick it up and bring it to you.

 

Can I place an order from multiple flyers?

Yes. With Grocio, you can place an order from multiple flyers. You'll have separate carts for each store and will be able to switch between them while shopping to find and add items.

 

Is there a minimum order amount?

Yes, your order total must exceed $15 (before taxes and applicable fees).

 

What if I order from multiple store flyers?

When you add items from multiple store flyers to your cart, they will be grouped by store. This results in a multiple-delivery order with separate shoppers. Then, our in-store shoppers in each store shop and bag your items, and a Grocio rider collects all the items from the stores that orders were placed and completes your grocery shopping in a single delivery trip. Please keep in mind that separate service fees and minimums apply for each store. In addition, you will charge a single delivery fee for a multiple-store order.

 

Can I collect my order?

Unfortunately, we don’t currently offer a pick-up option.

 

Can I place orders in advance?

Yes! You can set up orders up to a day ahead of time and choose any delivery time window.

 

What times can I order for?

We deliver every day from 7 AM to 11 PM, based on the grocery stores’ opening times. Visit the homepage or the app to see which grocery stores are available in your area. We’ll have your order with you in an average of 90 minutes. 

 

How do I redeem a voucher code?

If you have a voucher code, you can redeem it on the website. On the website, click ‘Add a Code’ on the checkout page.

 

Can I cancel my order?

Yes. You can cancel an order anytime before the order cut-off time by going to your orders under “Account”.

 

Can I track my order?

It's simple to track your order from the moment your personal shopper begins looking for your items until it arrives at your door. You just need to download the latest version of the Grocio app for iOS or Android

 

What if I want to cancel my order?

As long as the prep team has not yet started preparing your order, you're able to cancel it. If the prep team has already started preparing your order and you want to cancel, please get in touch with us through our Live Chat.

 

What happens if an item is out of stock?

Please keep in mind that the availability of a product may depend on where you are and when you place your order. Flyer items are subject to availability. If an item is out of stock, we will remove the item from your card and you will be refunded for that item.

 

What if something is wrong with my order?

We have a dedicated team that looks after your entire Grocio experience, from the moment you place an order right through to it arriving with you. However, we do understand that sometimes things might go wrong. If this is the case, you can use our Live Chat to report any issues. You can also contact us at hello@grocio.ca.

 

What if I want to add something to my order?

You can contact our customer service team via Live Chat and we’ll do our best to make sure you get all the items you want added to your order.

 

How is the order delivered to me?

Once you’ve placed your order, it’s sent directly to our team to prepare and package it. Once it’s ready, a Grocio rider will pick up your order and bring it to your delivery address.

 

What if my order is late?

Sometimes things outside of a rider’s control can cause a delay. Where we can, we will always try and proactively call you if we become aware that your order might not arrive within the estimated time of delivery, and our team will work to get your order to you as quickly as possible.

 

What if I’m not around when my rider arrives?

If you think you won’t be at the delivery address in time to receive your order, please let us know by using Live Chat.

Your rider will always try to call you if there’s an issue once they reach your delivery address. If they’re unable to contact you, our customer service team will try and reach you via phone and email. Please check your emails during the delivery time for any updates.

If we can’t contact you and are unable to deliver the order, your rider will wait for up to 30 minutes before leaving. In this event, you’ll still be charged for your order. To prevent this from happening, it’s always a good idea to double-check your contact and address details.

 

Do I have to tip?

Whether you tip or not is completely up to you. You can tip at checkout when placing your order. Riders receive 100% of all tips.

 

Fees on Grocio

How do fees work on Grocio?

Delivery fee:

The closer you are to the grocery store, the lower your delivery fee. This helps us pay riders fairly.

Service fee:

This helps us give you 24/7 customer service and keep improving the app.

 

How do fees work for orders from multiple stores?

Please note that separate service fees and minimums apply for each store. In addition, you will charge a single delivery fee for a multiple-store order

 

I'm not a new user. Can I get free delivery if I sign up?

Sorry, this offer is only valid for new users of Grocio. And don't keep making accounts, we'll know! (And you wouldn't like us when we're angry). To find out more, please go to our T&C's.

 

When will you be delivering in my area?
